- Update
Letter paper is now supported
yomeru now lays out your document on US Letter as well as A4. It picks the paper size that is standard where you are (Letter in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Philippines), and you can switch it any time from the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar. Printing, PDF and Word export all follow the paper you choose.
- Update
You can now save your edits on a phone
On iPhone and iPad, tap the share icon at the top right and choose "Share / Save" to open the share sheet. Save to Files, or pick the cloud app you want, to save the file in any folder you like on iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox and more. In Chrome on Android, you can save over the original or save as a new file, just as on a computer.

How to Open .md (Markdown) Files on Your Phone
Want to read your reports and daily notes saved as .md files on your phone? The iPhone Google Drive app won't open them, and other apps show a mess of symbols. Here's where to keep them and how to open them, based on testing on iPhone and Android.
- Update
Open .md files with a double-click
In Chrome or Edge on a computer, install yomeru from the button in the address bar, and you can open .md files in yomeru from "Open With" when you right-click them. Make it the default app and a double-click opens them. You can save changes straight back to the file. You can still use yomeru in your browser without installing anything.
- Update
The tab now shows the name of the open file
While a file is open, the browser tab (or the window, if you installed yomeru as an app) is named after the file. When you have several files open in separate tabs, you can tell them apart at a glance.

Open whole folders on your phone
You can now use "Open a folder" on your phone too, and images inside the folder are displayed. Folders on your device, iCloud Drive and Dropbox are supported (Google Drive folders may not be selectable due to an OS limitation).

You Can Now Open .md (Markdown) Files in Google Drive — So I Tested It
In October 2026, Google Drive and Google Docs added support for .md files. Here's what works, what doesn't, how saving rewrites your file, what to expect when printing or exporting to PDF, and what to watch for when using it with AI — based on hands-on tests.

Before You Convert a Markdown (.md) File to PDF
Converting .md files to PDF is convenient, but it comes with risks. Here are four things to check first — where online converters send your file, broken characters and page breaks, missing images, and why PDFs cost AI far more tokens — based on hands-on tests.

Added PDF export
Choose "PDF" under "Save / Export" and yomeru walks you through saving a PDF in your browser. The PDF is created on your device and never sent anywhere.

3 Reasons I Don't Recommend VS Code for Opening Markdown (.md) Files

How to Print a Markdown (.md) File
